Cary, NC

Architectural designer for Cary homes.

Custom home and renovation design for Cary families. We know the HOA review process, we draw for the lot, and we keep the scope fixed from the first meeting.

Designed for Cary

Cary is a renovation town as much as it is a new-build town. Plenty of the housing stock sits in that late-90s-through-2010 window. Formal living rooms nobody uses, compartmentalized kitchens, undersized primary closets, porches that do not connect to the backyard. The bones are often good, the floor plan needs a rethink.

Our core work for Cary clients is whole-home renovations, kitchen and primary-suite reworks, additions, and outdoor living. On larger lots in Preston, MacGregor Downs, and Lochmere, we also design new custom homes from scratch. Every project starts with a site and context read, then moves into schematic design.

The Cary HOA architectural review process is a real constraint, not a formality. We assemble submittal packets the way each ARC wants to review them: site plan, elevations, material samples, color board, roof plan. That is what it takes to get through review on the first pass instead of the third.

Every Cary engagement gets a fixed design fee, a schedule with milestone deliverables, and a named designer. You do not get handed off to a drafter after the first meeting.

What you get

01

Cary HOA fluency.

Most Cary neighborhoods have architectural review committees. We format the submittal packet the way the ARC wants to see it the first time.

02

Golf-course and lake lots.

We draw elevations that respect shared vistas on Preston, MacGregor, and Lochmere, then pull the interior plan around the view lines.

03

Renovation-first thinking.

A lot of Cary stock is late-90s to mid-2000s. We specialize in opening up those floor plans, rebuilding kitchens, and reworking primary suites.

04

Outdoor living for the climate.

Screened porches with real roof tie-ins, phantom-screened loggias, pool houses, and outdoor kitchens drawn for a Triangle summer.

05

Renderings before commitment.

Photoreal 3D lets you walk the renovation or the new build before a shovel hits the ground. Change your mind in the model, not on the job site.

06

Fixed design fee.

One scope, one fee. Every drawing milestone is priced up front so the design stage does not sprawl.
